Cammalleri shouldn't have been sent down to begin with.
Losing Palffy sucks, but I don't think it is the end of the season. If you look at the Kings, they're still better or on par with the Sharks. They have Marleau, Damphousse and Sturm and everyone else are role players. If Stumpel get his act together, and some fo the young kids start coming through, and the Kings play better defensively, and Roman gets healthy, I see no reason why the Kings can't grab a 7 or 8 seed. Dumping the vets and starting over is not the answer for this team. They need to show that they're moving foward.

i agree with everything you said except the cammallieri thing...i specially agree with the tightening up on the defense...the problem is our personel on D...*sigh*...i wish we still had schneider.

Excellent points GKJ. I have to admit to waffling on the whole thing a bit. IF Stumpel and Straka can make it back and we get Camms scoring who knows what we can do?

They also need to re-sign Palffy, which with the CBA coming could cause some trouble. Off the injury I think they could get him at a discounted price, and if they can get Allison back next year the Kings can really do some damage. (I've finally conceded that Deadmarsh won't be back before next season.

Normally, I would agree that Cammy shouldn't have been sent down because he's proven he can compete in the NHL and he needs to take his lumps and learn.

However, he hadn't scored in a while and the one thing we as fans don't know is how this is affecting Cammy's confidence. To us, he might seem as cheery as ever. But to the coaches, DT, and the rest of the team, they might notice that Cammy is extremely frustrated and it might be adversely affecting his confidence. I don't know if this is true, just that it is a strong possibility and if true, would seem reasonable.
