New Mission Titanium Stick

I just saw this in the newest USA Hockey magazine. Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on titanium sticks instead of the normal composite of carbon fiber, kevlar and all that other stuff. From the way it sounds it just looks like it will be a carbon fiber & titanium mix or something of that sort.

Interesting.. I doubt it is 100% made of titanium, though. I would think it would make the stick a fair bit tougher and possibly stiffer. Very innovative product; it'll be interesting to see how it performs.

It says "slash zone protection" on it....I'll bet it's like the Bauer Endure where it has a thin layer of metal on top of the shaft.

like above, it won't be all titanium...if it is how expensive would it be? look at Itech's titanium cage, its a good idea that's too expensive to ever sell well.

however, good idea mission

Finally a stick for me!

I hate seeing all these fancy players who get better because they use sticks made to help their shooting, lighter composites, holes, whatever.

I'm glad they have designed a stick with players like me in mind, cross check specialists.

The Bauer Endure (original version, not sure about the second one) had a similar thing, aluminum strip running down the top. I think they also had some glass in them since they're a bit heavy and insanely durable.

You think composites are expensive....this will make them seem like a steal. I paid $200 for my titanium wedding band. There has to be more material in the stick.

They could never make an all titanium stick. It's too stiff. It's be strong as hell and light as a feather though.

"Titanium... in your shaft.

Now we're talking LOTS OF MONEY (and you won't see much of a difference."
