The Rangers better be ready for a real physical game against their top 2 lines, and also on their D.

Hossa on the 1st line and Dawes not in the lineup is a joke...

He also has less footspeed, agility, defensive awareness, stickhandling ability, passing ability and shooting ability so i'm sure that also bodes well for the team tonight. But I'm positive that calming effect and sandpaper will go a long way .... supposedly.

By the way... I like your sig.

We didn't sell out the Home opener last year. On the negative side i wonder how many people in the crowd were from Buffalo. Here is our attendence from last season's first 5 games.

Boston- 14,732
Nashville 9,431
Pittsburgh 10,258
Carolina 12,349
Buffalo 8,861

Looking at that a sellout is a great thing. We might also benefit from the Mets not being in the playoffs. Beyond that for all who laugh at us trading for Ryan Smyth, i think we will have higher attendence the first 10-20 games because it showed the team wants to compete(even though we didn't resign him) and people will be more willing to shell out cash to go to a game.

haha yeah we still need a 3rd line center. Dubinsky is nowhere near the answer, and obviously, neither is Betts. Betts is a very nice 4th liner...nothing more.

I'm actually fine with Dubi there, let him grown instead of stunting him on the 4th and evaporating Prucha and Cally's game around the net.

They've had 2 home games and both were sellouts. Thanks for your concern though.

if you didn't watch that season then I understand.

Hossa worked well on the 1st line. Theres no room for Dawes how many times does it need to said, who you take out of the lineup for him?

I'm sure he will be dealing with Darryl Bootland most likely tonight.

You aren't wrong about any of that. I just see it as this is the third game of the season and if it's going to help get Staal comfortable for his first couple games then so be it.

Now if by December we're struggling and this guy is still a regular back there it's going to be a different story.

and thanks.

That guy is a scrub. We can only hope Nolan is forced to give him a regular shift

I'll be there in 123, 5 rows behind DiPietro

Quick...I need a good idea for a sign tonight. I want to make a priceless one....something like 15 years, 65 million and no shot at winning the Cup = Priceless

I should be able to be seen on TV behind DP so I want something clever that will get shown lol

Agreed. It has to be the Rangers who come out and set the tone of the game physically. What I don't want to see is sloppy changes, defensive blunders, bad penalties and the Rangers back on their heels in their own zone.

Throw a couple big hits and pepper DiPi with shots early on..

7 years 7 mil per for 13 goals
