Alexander Perezhogin

Alexander Perezhogin left for Russia after a disappointing last season in Montreal where he was not used as much as expected, stating homesickness as one of the main motivations for leaving the NHL.

That said, he is leaving the door open for a comeback to the NHL one day. Do you think he will ever have a 50-points season in the National Hockey League?

I've put a lot of choices in the poll to get a wider range of opinions.

I think he might come back a few years down the line and score 50 points a couple times. I don't think he's going to be an impact player in the NHL, though I did like him in Montreal.

wouldn't be surprised if he came back or not. 50 pts? Maybe.

If he comes back he definitely has the potential to put up 50pts. But unfortunately, I don't see him coming back to North America.

He'll have a good season this year in Russia and will never ever think about coming back.

I'm sure the $3 million contract didn't hurt either.

I don't think he'll be back.

I never expected he'd go away in the first place. So who knows what the future might hold? If the RSL can keep paying players who are unproven in the NHL a significantly higher salary than they'd ever get in the NHL, then it seems unlikely he'd ever come back. But even if he did, I don't see him getting over 50 points.
