I probably should've named this poll..."vote for which division your favorite team plays in".

That's not the case, because I would imagine many fans with Teams in the Central or Southeast know that, dispite their fandom, their team doesn't play in the strongest division.

Oh really.

the southeast is 1 or 2. Why? All the teams can win the division, and considering none of the teams are that good, there are potentially only 2 playoff spots available in that division unlike say the Atlantic where 3-4 teams can make it, becuase they are better. Just because they have more skill does not mean their division is harder, its just at a higher level.

Tough to say exact spots for all six, but my general idea is this:
Toughest Two: Atlantic & Northwest
Middle Two: Pacific & Northeast
Easiest Two: Central & Southeast

There is no tougher circumstance than facing Ottawa and Buffalo, the two best teams in the EC, 16 times total. A massive portion of 32 points will be lost for the other three NE teams because of the division they play in.

what about facing Dallas, Anaheim, and San Jose 24 times a year total? last year those 3 all had more points then Ottawa, and were probably pretty even overall with Buffalo.
for my money Its the Atlantic, because they have the combination of great teams (Pittsburgh, NYR) and playoff contenders (Philie, New Jersey, NYI). I dont buy this whole argument that all the teams from the NW are tough so its the best. I wouldnt take any of those teams over New York R or Pittsburgh in a playoff series.. Minnesota would be closest.

Northwest is the toughest to win but the best division is still the Pacific Division and the west representative will be a team from the Pacific, in my opinion.
