If you're not interested in driving, Greyhound has a $30 roundtrip special NY to Boston that I used this last weekend to see the Sens game @ MSG. Plus, they run almost hourly. It's similar to the Fung Way/Luck Star bus lines, but the chances of the bus crashing and everyone dieing are much, much less. They also leave out of Port Authority instead of some random street corner in Chinatown. The busses go to South Station in Boston, which is a short T ride away from the TD Center Bank Garden Fleet North.

I'd go if the "Hub of Hockey" didn't charge so damn much for tickets. I do have ice level seats for the game on Jan 19th courtesy of a friend with seasons.

I've had good luck with Stubhub, plus you can pick and choose the location of the seats you want.
