OT: Saturday open house for the Prudential Center

http://www.prucenter.com/default.asp?id=87&objId=319

Apparently this event is completely open to the public.

I know that we're all supposed to hate the Devils, but frankly, I want to see this arena and I'm glad that it is built and I hope that it succeeds 100%.

Is anyone in the area planning on stopping by the arena on Saturday? It's from 2-6PM and there will be food, music, etc.

Should be pretty cool and give everyone (Devils fans and non-Devils fans) a chance to see what the new arena is like.

Since I'll be up North, I think I'll end up stopping by with my girlfriend. We're going to some ferret festival (don't ask -- I got her a ferret half a year ago, and now she's obsessed) in Paramus.

I don't think most girlfriends want to go to ferret festivals where there will be contests for best dressed ferrets.

Most girlfriends would want to go jewelry shopping.

True, true -- haha.

I actually really like it. And it doesn't smell at all, surprisingly.

Is this you Hells? Why do you have to play a joke like this on all these poor Rangers fans. We all well know that the open house is for arena contruction workers and their familys only. No grey ticket on open house. BTW I ferrets.

Don't even bother going to the open house. Nothing will be able to top a best-dressed ferret contest. You'll just end up being disappointed.

She thinks a ferret is a mink and you're starting a farm for her mink coat!

Ferrets and minks are pretty closely related.

I'll be at the game at the Rock 11/2 against the Leafs and I'll have my camera.

This thread is funny. In all seriousness though it looks like a decent place to check out even thought it is home to the enemy

Since we are talking about the Rock, anyone else going to the game on 11/14? Tickets are still available on ticketmaster for it.

I'll probably be going. I'm actually very excited about seeing the Rock and they have very reasonably priced tickets for most games. Hopefully there will be many Rangers jerseys on the PATH train over from Manhattan along with myself

Answer: Several less than the total number of wide open nets he will miss. That's one annoying habit I wont be missing.
