I have an authentic white Fleury 14 Jersey and I love it hahaha.
I actually wore it to an Isles/Devils game two weeks ago.

I've seen the following at Rangers games just this season:
Pock, Malik, Holik

The girl who wears the Pock jersey posts on the NYR.com board, so I've spoken to her before. And the Strudwick guy that was mentioned bought his on MeiGrey and his is a game worn jersey from the 2005-06 season. But the worst I've seen this year was a Malik jersey. I couldn't bear to ask him why he purchased the jersey I was amazed.

My favorites are the old timers who refuse to let the 1980s go. I've seen Barry Beck's #5, Don Maloney's #12 and Pierre Larouche's #10 over the last couple of seasons. Those are definitely my favorites.

Probably the worst two jerseys that someone actually spent money on were a #47 Rich Pilon Islanders jersey and a #10 John Hall New York Jets jersey. Who buys a jersey of the kicker???

Ha Popovic sucked so bad. The gentle giant. He makes Malik look Leetch.

I'd get a Malik jersey. Feel sorry for the guy.

I don't think it's a bad idea at all because your name will never go out of style but as an adult 25-34 at this point I don't think I'd do that. I'm either going to wear a player's jersey or none at all. I'd feel weird to wear my last name and my favorite number like I was a player of the team.

I cannot ever remember a black ranger jersey, I'm guessing it was a marketing ploy and that the team never wore it. Can someone post a picture of it...

In the late 90's Starter made Black NHL jerseys for all the teams. They looked sharp on some and not so sharp with other teams

It actually didn't look bad on the roller hockey rink. It looked silly on the ice.

At least the kicker scores points, a kid in my school wore a New York Jets #7 Ben Graham jersey, the punter! thats the worst jersey i think I've ever seen in my life.

Haha I kinda like that. Graham is a really good punter.

If I can cheat and use Binghamton Rangers jerseys, which IIRC were identical for the Blueshirts, I can win this hands down!

Don Biggs, Corey Hirsch, Peter Fiorentino, Alexei Vasiliev, Fredrick Jax...

But Pavel Komarov would have to be the rarest.

A buddy of mine has a #33 Bruce Driver blue alternate jersey, that's gotta be one of the more unique ones I've seen.

Speaking of those fashion-inspired hockey jerseys (like the black Starter ones a lot of people are mentioning), does anyone remember the red Ranger ones that were out during the late '90s? I used to cringe every time I walked past one in the mall (and I say this at a time when I was living out the Fisherman era).

Yes starter made both a black and red rangers fashion jersey that looked ok for roller hockey but terrible on the ice.

I wear a #30 John Davidson jersey. He wore 00, 30, and 35, and I went with 30 just before Henrik arrived. Oh well. I still get a kick out of wearing my tribute to the man who taught me about the game during every MSG broadcast.
