Believe!!!

I realize it is difficult, but after only 6 games there are threads saying no excuses, Renney's butt on the line, and trading away jagr, straka, shanny.

We still have over 70 games left in the season...there is NO EXCUSE for ANY RANGER FAN to be throwing in the towel already!!!

You gotta keep BELIEVING!!! they can pull it off!!!! Have FAITH!!!!

Today is a new day...Tomorrow night is a new game!!!

I think I finally heard the alarm go off last night...it was a little late, but it did go off...RANGERS are hungry for wins!!!

KEEP THE FAITH! KEEP BELIEVING! TRUE BLUE! LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!

nice post!

we cant panic, and as much as i think Renneys job MIGHT be under threat with another couple of losses, lets not get that far! Theres no doubting the talent on this team we just need consistent efforts from them...

we all know they can do it...

Weren't the Rangers like, 8+ points out of a playoff spot and 10th in the conference at the all star break last year? All of the complaining could be turned around by one good week. Consecutive wins get you to .500. I won't panic unless it's like this in December.

Yeah, some people were throwing in the towel. I remember a thread or two with a "The Season was over when..." theme.

It's obviously not an ideal start, but it's not a season killing start either. There are definitely some things that need to be ironed out, but some people really need to chill the **** out like Pogo said.

I dont give a rats ass how we play right now to be honest (ok, so its painful to watch).

Think back to the aweful start we got last year. We are in the same situation. Renney changes the lines all over the place and it hard for the player to gain chemistry with linemates, because they are constantly changing.... But guess what, after half a year of Renney playing these games the team as a whole gains chemistry, because everyone has played on a line with everyone else....

Let em work out the kinks, and let it all mesh together.... Id rather be hot in april than be hot in october.....

So let me gets this straight... the team can play like complete manure for as long as they aren't mathematically eliminated, and there shouldn't be any negative threads until that point? How does one discuss a team that has so little going right without sounding less than optimistic? Should every post be spouting off some feel good slogans? That's hardly what I'd call meaningful discussion.

Unfortunately a lot of people seem to have lost faith in this team.

...and when the Rangers go on a tear, those same people weill say they had faith in the team all along.

Bad start but I do believe Renney will figure it out.

Couldn't care less if some fans panic, as long as Renney and Sather don't.

A little negativity about game play or line combos is one thing, but when people start calling for the firing of the coach and the trading of Jagr, Shanny, Straka, Rosy, etc, after 2-4 it's ridiculous.

The team is two games under .500 six games in and we're already taking faith-based initiatives? Yikes.

as soon as Jagr shows a sense of urgency or wanting to lead by example I will regain my sense of faith.

I'll probably be going to the game tomorrow night, since I've since transplanted myself to Emerson College. Gotta love parent's weekend, when $10 tickets aren't on your dime

I'll give a nice little report when i get back to my dorm

yes its a shame. not that sayng any one here isnt a true fan, buta fan stands by there team i and out, wins or loses. Its gets frustraed as I talk a ton of **** when they play like garbage, but still watch. Cause I always have that feeling they will come back if they are down.

Now last night i was watching the game at a bar, some one shut the game off on me, yet only to walk over and say sorry i want to watch college football, so I was in a good mood , i new he was being a dick but said no problem. He walks up to me about 10 minutes later and says what do you care about the game, there losing 4-0, and well my point is.... i been a fan since i was 10 years old, which was 19 years ago, and i stand by and watch no matter what. I guess that shows I havent lost my faith. And never will. Plus Im on probabtion in this bar, so i have to be on my best behavior. I dont think Ill get a second chance if I get kicked out again

When you have a forum...

where comments are made each and every day, including predictions for the coming season every day over the Summer when there aren't games, you're going to get these reactions. In the past, there were teams that have won the Cup that had a stretch during the season in which they only won a couple out of six games, that's not an issue. There are some things you do see on this team that could be issues, some that were raised in the offseason, but we don't know how they'll pllay out. Let's wait and see.

It will happen when Avery hits the ice again. Last year after they got avery they started winning and now that he's injured other teams think they can mess with us *cough cough* atlanta *cough cough* like that cheep shot last night when shanny went all crazy (go shanny), if we had avery that guy wouldnt have an arm right now.

Losing the faith is nuts but every game is worth the same amount and these games are just as important as late season games. They do need to start winning which I am fairly sure they will.

Haven't lost the faith, but it would be nice to see them play a full 60 minutes.
