Well, before it conflicted with a birthday party, now it conflicts with the rugby world cup final. At least I should be able to catch the end of it...

anyone else going to the game tommorow? I'm up at college and am taking the train in from providence. I should be there early and have a few drinks outside the game. Anyone want to meet up and talk some rangers hockey, let me know.

Boston is another improved team, but the rangers shouldnt care about anyone but themselves and the effort they need to give to win the game.

60 minutes of hockey today.

Lets Go Rangers!!!!

Time Warner NY people -

I thought i might have to record 3 or 4 shows within that 4-7pm time frame because the game wouldnt have been entered into that time slot.

But they put the game in both the 4pm and 7 pm slots in the DVR menu - so those who want to record it shouldn't have a problem.

I'm going to be at the game! Not a bad way to spend a birthday, if I do say so myself. Yes, I got word that the game was moved up to 4pm, but I live a little more than an hour from Boston, so it's not a huge problem.

Here's to hoping the Rangers win!

Happy Birthday.

Hope you and all of us get to see the Rangers win, and not just one of those crappy wins, a BIG win with team effort.

With COX it is still only on the schedule at 4 (pacific time). Hopefully it will at least be on the same channel. Maybe they are too dumb to realize that 4 in Boston is not the same as 4 in Vegas.

One of those "total domination" wins would be just perfect. I'm hoping that kind of thing happens instead of a late-game rally, goes into a shootout-type game. (That would be nice as well, but the first situation would be better.)

I can only imagine how nauseating it is up there with the Sawx fans..it's bad enough walking around Manhattan seeing people wearing Red Sox stuff knowing that they probably couldn't name anyone on the roster before 2003.

Anyway, as for the Rangers game, I actually have a good feeling about this game - much unlike the sickening feeling I had before the Atlanta game which proved to be true. The Rangers have played very well up in Boston the past few years, there should be a good amount of Rangers fans in the house and the team actually showed some signs of life at the end of the Atlanta game.

We pretty much need to win this game - obviously no game in October is a "must-win", but with Pittsburgh and New Jersey coming up next week, we need to go into those games with a little momentum.

Not likely. It would make the most sense for Vally to start against either Toronto on the 27th or Caps on Nov 1.

Don't know about that, the Bruins and Tim Thomas have looked really good so far.

Still, we did play the Bruins lights out last season. This is a different season though
