Actually I could see Girardi becoming a perennial 30 point player. He handles the puck very well and moves it out of our zone probably as well as anyone on the team. He has a decent shot as well. The most other teams can hope for out of him is one mistake a night--he doesn't repeat errors or get down on himself. He's just steady and smart. He and Fedor are making each other into better players. With everything else out of sync our young defensemen--including Staal all look very good.

The Rangers defense reminds me of the Yankees pitching.

A weak spot right now, but a potential strength in a few years.

Man, I can see our defense being something like this in a few years:

Girardi - Tyutin
Staal - Sauer
Sanguinetti - (Veteran defenseman)

Not in any particular order. If everyone lives up to their potential this will be one hell of a defense in the years to come. If we can just keep them all...

Almost had his 2nd on the PP today. Hey btw I dont watch a lot of NYR games but I'm watching the one on CI today...is it just me or is Dan Girardi the best Dman on the team?
