skate stretching?

My friend has a pair of skates he wants to sell me that are a half size too small. Is skate stretching an option? I've heard it mentioned but dont know anything about it

A good licensed hockey dealer should be able to do this for you. A whole Half size maybe too much though.

Won't help much length wise, just width.

They'l probably....

Heat them and put them on the stretcher for at least 48 hours. As other posters have said, Not for length...won't work. A 1/2 size in width would probably wreck the boot.
