Don't forget Parenteau... older, more experienced than most of the home-grown kids, and plays right wing.

That said, I've watched both games he played for the Pack online and he didn't exactly set the world on fire.

Bourret won't get the call. Either will Jessiman. I'd suspect it'll be Parenteau or Byers, but it could possibly be Moore or Korpikoski. Outside shot to Anisimov, who, because of his age I think they'll leave in Hartford a little while longer regardless of how well he's played.

I think it will be korp, polished defensively experienced at pro level (AHL and Finland) might as well get his feet wet.

I would try.
Dawes-Dubinsky-Bourret

Dawes and Bourret have some great chemistry from playing in Hartford.

Has Renney gone with the Dawes-Gomez-Shanny trio that showed promise during preseason? if not, what is that man thinking? or rather not thinking?

I'd go with...

Hossa-Drury-Jagr
Prucha-Gomez-Shanahan
Dawes-Dubinsky-Bourret
Hollweg-Betts-Orr

Moore is a little older--towards 25 more than 20. He has an NHL body. Is supposed to be defensively responsible. Byers and Korpikoski are both possibilities--last I remember both were a little lanky. Moore and Korpikoski if it means anything tend to play on the left wing. I don't think Jessiman is ready at all. Bourret is probably the most skilled and has played well with Dawes at the AHL level. It doesn't sound necessarily like it's going to be a long callup. Whoever does come up should be good enough defensively to kill penalties.

Not sure i buy this. Wasnt Callahan flying his last shift when he hit the post? I seem to recall him wincing as some point in the middle of the game, i cant imagine its anything more than a couple days if he played out the restof the game as good as he was moving..

He seemed to get hurt right after he hit the post.

Yea, but right after he hit the post he ran into Dawes and hurt his knee.

You jinxed him JMB! j/k

I'd be happiest with Korpi coming up but I'm not sure they think he's ready. Probably be Byers or Bourret, both of which I'll be excited to see.

Don't stress yet....

Word from the Rangers after Ryan Callahan’s MRI is the wing suffered a grade two knee sprain and is out “indefinitely”. He will not require surgery, so indefinitely might only be a couple of days.

Jesus Christ, this month has been a nightmare. Thankfully it doesn't look too serious, but even the LA Kings aren't this injury-riddled this season.

could be a couple of days, could be a month. It all depends on how fast a healer is. Its definately something to keep him out of the lineup until he is 100% though b/c if he re-injures it it probably will be worse.

Moores just 23, and would be my next callup. Sure we all want our top 2 line potential players to get call ups but its time see what our 3rd/4th liners have to offer, hopefully replacing Hollweg on the 4th line.

Seems to be taking early strides this season in the AHL and like you said hes defensively responsible.

Korpi, Jessiman, and Bourret IMO are not ready for a callup and if they do, they would play 3 minutes. I could see Renney giving Moore 8-10 minutes since he is more ready.

BTW, Moore leads all Pack skaters after 6 games with 7 points.

Always been a fan of Moore and was kinda disappointed he didn't put up any type of real numbers at the pro level, mainly because he was used in a defensive role on the Pack, but he seems to be doing great so far playing an offensive role this season on the top 2 lines.

does it matter if he had knee injuries before?? I think last year he missed part of training camp cause of an injury from juniors

Yea but this doesn't sound that bad. It will keep him out but as long as there isn't a tear like they are reporting, it shouldn't hurt him in the future. And I believe his last knee injury wasn't a tear either but im not positive.

Didn't Callahan miss training camp because he showed up out of shape?
