Anybody catch this during that trivia question (Who are the only 3 Swedes in NHL history to win the Calder?)

Chico: Oo I bet I know who that is
[pause]
Chico: [trying to throw viewers a bone] Well there are a lot of Swedes in the building today, it could be Henrik Tallinder
Steve: [chuckling] I don't think so

Yeah it came off the stick of Smith and Kovalchuk just got in the w—" *replay is now shown for the 18th time* "—OHHHHHHHH no Marty actually got his stick on that one, Steve."

he really is. during intermission against the pens, he was chatting with these fans who were celebrating an anniversary…I think he may have mentioned it on air. but while they were talking, he was listening, joking around- just an all around affable guy. he then took a pic w my gf, updated us on Doc, and went on smiling. great dude
I've told this before here, but I got a tour of the arena a few years back and when we were leaving, we ran into Chico in the garage, stayed talking with us for a good 15 minutes and kept apologizing when he had to leave because he had to do an interview or something with Sutter (Flames were in town) and I've had other encounters with him over the years as well that were no different
A friend of mine was taking a piss one game and Chico comes to do the same right next to him and Chico starts up a conversation about the game
Chico could not remember the last name of the Ottawa head coach last night, Cangy had to bail him out.
Anyone else agree that Cangy and Chico spent way too much time talking about Ottawa yesterday?
hahah yea I noticed Chico forgot Paul MacLean's last name. Also, Chico probably mentioned at least 7 different occasions that Ottawa is going to be a low scoring team this year.
I met Chico in Nassau Coliseum the other day. He's hilarious. He told me and a friend about how he was a huge Hawks fan growing up because they had "a goalie named Glenn." My friend told him it was Glenn Hall and Chico was like "Yeah that's it"
I've never met Chico. After seeing all these stories, I really want to now.
Even in passing he's fun to run into. I was standing behind my section (lower bowl, a few sections off from the fire lounge where he's calling the game) for some reason, likely right after the period ended. Chico was walking by on his way somewhere and my friend just called out to him to say hi. Chico gave a pretty enthusiastic/animated greeting as if they were long time friends. It was hilarious to watch.
Chico is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. We used to frequent the same establishment, and sometimes he would invite himself over to mine, and my buddy's table.
He's very blunt in real life too. I can only imagine what he'd say about Tallinder if I had ran into him tonight.
My favorite Chico moment probably isn't YouTubed unfortunately (though for some reason I remember it was a game against the Flyers). I've posted this one before, about how he was rambling on for two minutes about how it was weird Madden wasn't on the PK and wondering aloud whether something was wrong. Right after Chico said something like 'I don't know what the problem is', Doc finally corrects him:
Doc: 'The problem will be relieved as Madden comes out of the box now'
Chico: 'Haha oh yeah'
