where is this coming from? are the leafs supposed to be after Daigle or something because he is far from what we need at the moment

If at the deadline the Leafs have been unable to get another scorer, and the Wild are out of the playoffs and making him avaible (and depending on the price), why not? He's not going to hurt and wouldn't make a terrible #3 RW behind Mogilny and Nolan.

Yes, he would hurt. He has quit on every team he has ever been on. He would poison a clubhouse that is much solider than last year.

Better Hoglund than Daigle. Better - gasp - Belak than Daigle.

Hoglund better than Daigle? Yes. Hoglund loved Toronto. He may have been our scapegoat, but he still loved playing here...I hope everyone has seen how well he's doing in Switzerland now though. He's a decent guy...always smiling...
