The formerly highly touted prospect Roni Andersson (Jokerit, HPK, mostly youth teams) has been spotted in Hallsberg, not far from Örebro. Maybe he wants to play in Allsvenskan to get some senior experience to earn a new contract in SM-liiga?

Big, strong and was a good playmaking winger in jr with a really hard righty shot... Is he just visiting friends/family or looking for a deal with Örebro?

Hi

Long time reader of this forum, 1st time posting. Bit of a random question regarding hockey and Örebro for you. I'm going to be in Örebro this weekend. Planning to watch the Leksand game on friday and then FBK-SSK on saturday. I was wondering whether to try and go and watch a game on the sunday? I think the 2 games nearby are Bofors-Almtuna and Västeras-Bjorkloven. Which of the 2 games, if any, would you recommend I watch?

Thanks

Sorry... didn't check in for a while. Which suffering to pick eh... well, the least bad option would have been to see Almutna win. That's always nice.

ÖHK has a new fight song?

http://na.abcdn.net/abPlayer2/defaul...1&offset=8.777

Good luck with rallying people in Örebro around that.

Why can't people in the so called PR/Marketing departments ever learn that it's not a eurovision song contest or a billboard chart they're gunning for.

As much as I hate to admitt it, DIF, AIK, etc. have figured it out with "SFGD" and "Å vi e' AIK," etc. Simple lyrics, close to home, and a melody that people can comfortably sing along with.

How can it be so hard...

Yuck. Sometimes hockey lacks relevance.

Scary, moment in Karlskoga tonight when Niklas Lihagen collapsed and lost breath and pulse on the ice. Major props to the ref for not only recognizing the situation but also have the precense of mind to know what to do... I guess it was Niklas' small luck that the ref works as an ambulance driver during the days, and it really makes me think that we should include extensive CPR training for refs as well as coaches. In the lower divisions, Niklas would have been dead.

I hope he gets back on the ice again, but as I started out, if not, thanks for all your strong games Niklas. Best wishes and be safe.

Gnagaren is lolly-gagging with they puck along the boards. What is he expecting?!? Milk, cookies, and a blankie?

What Gräsberg does is not only legal but 100% right in my eyes. Don't worry about the puck. Lay'em out! It's too bad we don't have consistent plays like that in Swedish hockey.

Anyway, could someone please let me know if I misunderstod the TV guy in the end. What he is saying makes no sense to me whatsoever. Södergren was spot on though.

I guess I'll get this old thread out of the basement for this.

http://na.se/sporten/ishockey/1.8210...r-sig-tillbaka

Interesting to see how things will shape up för ÖHK in the future.

no unexpected. it's time to build örebro hockey on a bigger ground. the arena plans sound solid, so i hope the sponsors will join. but it also means that the attendance has to go up. people have to show interest in hockey, not bandy.

and honestly, fahlander seems to be a crazy guy. so i doubt he would watch örebro hockey going downhill again. if they need him, he'll be there. but only as last option.

Feels like Ejendahl, or Percy Nilsson for that matter, but on a lower level. I also heard that he wanted to help out Björklöven with some money but that it wouldn't be enough. Crazy like you said ^^

Bandy is God's attempt to humor in sports much like what the Platypus is in nature. Slap-stick anybody?

Without Bandy, life would just not be the same. How people spend hours on out watching it is even more interesting, but my favorite song group helped me understand that as well...

+++++++++++++
Spola, spola isen
Spola, spola isen
Spela, spela bandy

Ingen annan sport, ingen annan sport
Ingen annan sport, ingen annan sport

Ingen annan sport, ingen annan sport
Ingen annan sport, ingen annan sport

As long as you have Melker "Svennebanan" Karlsson, it can't go wrong

...so, you are saying that Örebro needs to have the refs on their side to make it up?

I see... well, I figured since you had included Rådbjer, , in your post, you tried to make a point or two. Just kiddin' by the way.... I don't want to get fined.

Crazy stuff with Fahlander. I don't understand how they figured they can fine him. Not that I agree with blaming the refs when you have your ass spanked after being up one with less than 20 secs to go and the puck is in the offensive zone.... I don't get that at all. But, if he (Fahlander) flies off the handle, how is that any different than if I write or say that I think someone stinks and should hang'em up?!

wiklander re-signed for 3 years

not that i expect him to stay, but if he leaves there will be money at least.

and conny will play another season too. give him a life-long contract and free entrance in the local casino if needed.

and if we could get alex leavitt now, orebro would go on double-digits each game. goals for and also goals against.

hello guys!

A friend of mine (Dustin Kohn) just recently signed with Orebro. I was hoping to get your opinons on how he's looked and how Orebro is doing?

I know that they're in 4th as I write this. Forgive my ignorance, how does the playoff/promotion structure work in regards to the Allsvenskan?

Thanks in advance!

Dustin Kohn has been playing on Örebros second pairing, so far no points in 8 games. The last two games he have been missing from the lineup, don't know if he is injured or scratched. Örebro is a favorite to make the "playoffs"called Kvalserien. This is a series where the four best teams from Allsvenskan faces the two worst from Elitserien in a double round-robin tournament where the best two teams qualifies for Elitserien next year.
