Klee and the Flames

Anybody know why Klee didn't play against the Flames on Tuesday? Is he injured?

Thanks.

As a Bolt fan, I was hoping the Lightning would've signed him over the summer. On a team hurting for another solid defender, go figure...

Anway, been following his season in Toronto this year. Nice to see his offensive game wake up. I'm sure he's been quite the surprise for Leaf fans this season. A pleasant one. Hopefully, he'll be back in the lineup soon.

THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE

Defenceman Ken Klee, who was slated to undergo an ultrasound yesterday afternoon, can not yet put a time table on a possible return date from his abdominal injury. He does hope to start skating in the next three or four days.

According to coach Pat Quinn, one hobbled player who might return soon is defenceman Tomas Kaberle, who has suffered injuries to both of his shoulders in the past month.

"(The shoulder) still is tender but he's skating," Quinn said. "He'll have to test it with some physical play before we make a determination."
