B-Sens Luke Richardson On The Right Path For NHL Gig

Luke has been somewhat of savior for the organization as has been a force in the last two seasons in Binghamton while his success as head coach for the B-Sens can no longer be ignored in my latest article for SenShot.com.

I would hate to see him with the Leafs but it does make sense.

Would really prefer him here as top assistant under Maclean. He knows the kids and has already got a communication channel to deal with them.

I was under the impression that Richardson wasn't looking to get into the NHL yet? I'm sure that it will be with Ottawa when he does. He's the kind of guy that you make room for.

Richardson's daughter is going to school in Ithaca I believe. I think that was his motivating factor for taking the head coaching gig in Binghamton to be closer to her. However, if someone offers you an NHL gig, you say YES Ray!

Theres still 1 or 2 teams in the AHL with a better record then him, and some better coaching candidates, i hope we get a better idea on paul maclean next season if he is making the same mistakes just fire him, and get Luke before he generates more interest from other clubs.
