Indrew, you are just much better at life than me I suppose.

I have tried the marketplace once or twice and never had any luck.

If they skate at SBP, it is not open. If they skate at the Sensplex, it is. Most visiting teams skate at SBP.

Parking?

Hi!

My dad and I are heading to the Canucks game next month, and my parents were just saying there's no end in sight to the bus strike.

So in light of that, I was wondering how much parking costs at the arena. And how much parking is available (ie if there's any risk of not getting a spot).

Also, if anyone has a parking pass they're selling for that night (Feb 19), by all means let me know!

Thanks in advance!

Hey man, that's cool you're going that game as it should be a good one. Sens/Nucks games always are with the exception of the last one.

Anyway to answer your question, parking at SBP is 11 bucks. There is plenty of parking and stretches out to a very large distance. Certain lots are designated for season ticket holders with a parking pass, so unless you get there pretty early you may end up being pretty far back and walk for a bit but the walk always goes fast.

Thanks!

I hope the walk goes fast - I've lived my entire life on the south end of Vancouver Island (Victoria & Duncan) and am not used to sub-zero temperatures. Although by that point I'll have been in Ottawa for a couple weeks so I should be over the shock.

And for the record, I thought the last Sens/Nucks game went very well.

You might have to revise your price expectations a bit; that price is for tickets in the CokeZero zone (where season ticket holder actually pay more), 300 uppers are almost $60/each, 300 lowers are almost $100 each ...

whats the deal with tickets these days?

is it easy to get below face value seats for the lower bowl from scalpers outside the arena before the game?

is it possible to move into club seats from the nose bleeds after the 1st period?

im looking for a pair to the upcoming Bruins and Sabres game. I want clubs, lower bowl and not behind the netting.

im from England so dont know much about the ticket situation in Ottawa.

any info appreciated!

thanks.

I heard a scalper complaining about the lack of buyers outside the Ottawa-New Jersey game, and then another one saying he was selling his for below face. Now, New Jersey isn't exactly a high-demand team. Boston and Buffalo...maybe a bit more, but probably won't be sellouts with Ottawa being ******.

As far as moving to the lower bowl, the ushers are pretty observant with that kind of thing, so you probably won't get away with it. Most of the blocks of empty seats are way up high in the 300s anyway.

It is easier to get below face value seats on kijiji or usedottawa.com. At the rink, you should expect to pay face + anywehre from 10%-40%.

It is difficult to move down, particularly to the 100L or 200L.

In all honesty though, the best seat in the house is 200L row A. The lower Bowl view is fairly obstructed by the glass.

Not too early. Just go to capitaltickets.ca, click on Ottawa Senators and pick the game you want to see.

They only sell tickets a few months before the game and now all tickets are available until the end of the year however it looks like this game is mostly only available as part of packages (The Sens decided that some of the more popular games are only available in 2 game packages). They do have some 'this game only' tickets left but it looks like it's only 'standing' tickets (top row of the rink) for about $48/each.

If you do want seats, I'm think we can't make this game so might be selling ours (section 322 row L (centre ice)). You can email me at micheldebreyne@hotmail.com
