But what kind of d-man is he? I mean, is he strictly an offensive d-man à la Ozolinsh (not comparing talent there, only styles) or a 2-way d-man? Does he use his body? Is he more of a PP specialist à la Wooley?
I have watched Flood two or three time this year. I have been impressed with what Ive seen. He plays lots of minutes in all situtations. I'm not sure who I would compare him to, but he's pretty descent in his own end. Lengthy kid but should fill out nicely.
I don't think he was drafted for his scoring ability, it is a career year for him this season. If anyone I would compare him to Rivet, not a great offensive threat or defensive defenseman but sound in all areas (not excelling in any certain area) who will probably be a 5 - 7 dman.
