Hi!! Florida Panthers fan here. Martin Gelinas was one of my favorite players in Florida and I was just wondering how he has played with the Preds so far? Thanks.
He looked really good in last night's game against Columbus. He's had some bad luck with injuries so far this season. He sliced his hand open during off-ice team building excercises & took a stick to the eye from his own teammate. He's missed quite a few games, but he's back now and looking solid.
He also took a high stick in Anaheim (with no call)....and then took a stick knob to the eye (again from his own teammate) in LA. And apparently hurt his shoulder somehow in an earlier Calgary game.
He's really only played a handful of games and he's working his way back. But I think he's doing good. I like him.
