Pitkanen

Apparantly Brash was teaching Pitkanen how to fight at the last practice.

Obviously Donald has passed on the enforcer role so he can concentrate more on goalscoring. :p

I really don't mind Brash showing him a few moves. Opponents love taking runs at Joni because they know he is a rookie and he doesn't like to fight. He started punching some guy a few games back and because he didn't really know what he was doing, he got a penalty. If Brash can show him a few moves, let him. Also, since we are in desperate need of goals, I don't care if it's Fedoruk or Therien scoring, we need all the goals we can get.

Hes not afraid to mix it up and it could always come in handy with back to back games against the Leafs coming up!

Good on him for learning a few things, maybe someone gets a surprise soon if they try to run him.
Maybe Brash could give Gags a few pointers too.

Oh, please no! Gags is too fragile. I was at the Lightning game a couple of years ago when he dislocated his shoulder throwing a punch!

Gagne hasn't been that fragile lately. He has been throwing the body around often lately, and if I remember correctly, he laid a big hit on Strbak in the Pittsburgh game, then made another good hit on the same shift. He may have been fragile in the past, but he didn't exactly dislocate the shoulder throwing the punch, he fell on his shoulder after the scrum developed. (Or were you being sarcastic?)

You're right, it was a good hit along the boards on Strbak. I was a bit surprised to see this coming from Gags but well, it was a pleasant surprise!
