Hell of a team if Niedermayer returns.

Nice work to improve you team. I don't know if price is worth the roster spot. It depends on how many players you dress each night and if you can swap playes out every night. Both Luongo and Brodeur are workhorses and are two of the best goaltenders in the world. (although both have been struggling lately). If you could carry an extra forward to rack up the points, I would probably do that then get 1 start every 2 weeks from Price. Price will be a star one day, but he has little value in a 10 team, 1 year league.

I am also unsure about Niedermayer in a H2H league. There is still no official word if he will come back and when. May just be using roster space. Just my thoughts.

I agree Price is not worth having. I don't know all the details in Montreal, but it doesn't sound like he'll be getting many starts. But, I suppose thats better than keeping Emery. I would have kept Gerber. Risky, but hopefully Brodeur will turn it around.

I also wouldn't waste my spot with Neids. I guess it helps that you just picked him up, but is he really going to be that much more effective? I think he'll be rusty.

I would dump cheechoo. Maybe package him and price for a starter.

Cheechoo + Price + Neids for 1 or 2 improvement players. Take out the trash for some solid players that can help you in some areas you lack.

I like how you have a star at each position.
C-Joko
LW-Kolvie
RW-Alfie
D-McCabe
G-LUONGO AND BRODEUR. Craziest tandem ever.

There is no glaring weekness on your team, just some less useful players that might have some trade value.

Thanks for your input. I'm debating with myself about Price. However, he actually has 2 wins for me this week. I might hold on to him for a week or two more and see if they increase his starts.

I can only dress two in each position, except D (that's 4), per night. So If all three goalies are playing it kind of wastes Price's start since I can't in good conscience start him over Brodeur or Luongo. So that's not great. Minimum three goalie starts per week - so I could do it with just Brodeur and Luongo.

I could look into packaging Cheechoo and Price for a starter or a scoring forward. I might have to wait until Cheechoo has a big night and then cash in on the excitement.

Monaco - I know hey? I'm proud of that one.

Arjun - thanks, I tried to make sure to get a star at every position. It ensures that you're never overloaded in one position and you have to make a hard decision on who to play. If all my stars were centres, and I can only play two, I would get less points obviously. I can't believe I have two first round pick goaltenders either. Incredible what I gave up to do that too.

The Demitra for McCabe trade is looking better every game Dem doesn't play and Mc keeps getting powerplay assists.
