Would you go after him for the rest of the season ?

would he fit into the leafs?

NOT A CHANCE IN HELL!!!

Why would you want to ruin such a good dressing room with a trouble making and selfish player like Fleury? Not to mention his skills have diminished. If he were to become a Leaf I'm sure the dressing room would change for the worse. I doubt many Leaf players would respect him. It makes no sense at all to acquire him.

1. Nope
2. Not the kind of guy either would like in the DR I'd imagine.
3. Nope.
4. Not sure.
5. In need of more time away from the game.

I think someone brought this up a few months ago, and my opinion then is the same as now. We need to think more in terms for what's better for Theo the person and not the player. Playing in T.O. would be a brutal mistake, the media would be all over his past problems.

I'm personally not willing to risk Theo re-starting his preoblems because of T.O's pressures on Hockey Players. He'd be a nice LW and I have wondered how he'd do with all of his old teammates. I still say he'd be too risky though.

Fleury - Now there'sa nut bar!

The last couple of years he was hilarious to watch away from the play. It was like he was playing but in a slightly different univserse dimension. He was nutty! BRAVO! That's Hockey!

Even when he's on his game, he takes horrible, horrible penalties because HE wants to, not because it helps the team. He's a great talent no doubt, and if any dressing room could handle him right now, it would be ours, but the media would have his head, and there would likely be false alegations made against him, definatly not the right city for him to play in.

Why not Dave Keon while we're at it? Gilmour, bless his heart, is done. Finoshed. He has no value left as a hockey player. And I always want to remember him as he was in 93/94 - the best player for two years ever in a Leaf uniform.

Theo Fleury is the NHL's equivalent of nuclear waste. That said, maybe he can get his act together under Quinn, and with Roberts, Nieuwendyk, Riechel, Kidd and all the other ex-Flames on Toronto.
