Edmonton at Chicago - Edmonton is a ways back but is yet another team that could give us trouble if we slide.

Calgary at Colorado - This one is obvious. A win by Calgary ties them with us. We've both played 68 games, but they will win the tie breaker based on wins (as of right now).

San Jose at Dallas - Go San Jose, keep Dallas behind you. This one isn't important, IMO, as far as us making the playoffs, it's important for who we play.

St. Louis at Buffalo - The Blues have a chance to come within 3 points of the Preds with no games in hand. Definitely a dangerous game as far as the Preds are concerned. Hopefully the game the night before has them slightly winded.
I like to see Chicago win just because they have to put with such misery all season long with their management and all.

also., I think that Buffalo is a much hotter team than the Blues right now. I mean, come on, they have a guy on their team name Maxin Afinogenov. How cool is that?!

Who knows, maybe even *elmore will score today.

Edmonton at Chicago

Calgary at Colorado

San Jose at Dallas

St. Louis at Buffalo

These are the games we cared about and so far, we've struck out. Edmonton, Calgary and Dallas all got two points and St. Louis is leading going into the 3rd. This might be a bad day for the Preds.

well that was an ugly weekend for us.

I have faith that the team can pull together and get it done. It looks like we will have to rely on that rather than teams dropping off.,although it is looking worse for LA every day

So, I'm thinking we want Detroit (duh!) and St. Louis to win. Is there any advantage to us to have LA win?

no, for that game, we have to hope that their arena is invaded by goblins, and thus no game is played, and no points awarded.

I'm pulling for LA, as I'd love for St. Louis streak to be broken by us on the last home game of the season.

Me personally, I want the number nine seed to stay as far away from the eighth seed as possible. If St. Louis wins the pack just stays tight like it is right now. If LA and Nash win, St. Louis will be 3 pts back. Basically I don't care where the Preds are seeded in the playoffs, just so long as they make it.

Did anybody watch the Rangers-Devils game tonight? It was really boring and made me appreciate Nashville hockey. The game was slow, sloppy, and lacked physicality.

Dunham has put up some bad numbers this season, but watching that team in front of him really makes me think that there isn't a whole lot that he could do sometimes.

Yeah, the Rangers are pathetic. As much as it pains me to say it, they could really use a defense first coach. They could surely win more games if they weren't so inept in their own end. If the Wild can compete with what seems like a talentless roster, then surely the Rangers can if they adapt to the system.

I actually fell asleep as the 2nd period was winding down. I wish that the Toronto-Buffalo game had been on, now that one looked like a real thriller.

It was, if you like Toronto. Buffalo was running them all over the place. Even Leetch was looking bad. But somehow the Leafs came back. In OT Buffalo was on a PP (maybe questionable), and McCabe crosschecked a Sabre twice, in front of the refs after the whistle and nothing was called (as the Leaf announcer said, "Guilty conscious by the ref so he doesn't call that obvious one right there"- also known as a makeup- one that effected the outcome of the game.)! Then the Leafs kill the penalty and go down and score.

I felt bad for any Buffalo fans at the game, there were so many Toronto fans there, it was like a Leaf home game! Seriously it was like 10x worse than when Detroit plays here.

That's my thoughts. Any time the #9 team is able to be pushed farther away it's a good thing.

We just have to make sure we take care of our own business, then we won't have to worry about the teams behind us.

YES!

Skoula scores for the Ducks to tie the game. Now...if the Ducks can get another goal...or at least keep the blues from scoring again...

I'll join in the fun here.. St. Louis better not get the extra point in OT, the Oilers need to catch them!
