The Game on Saturday Night In Toronto

My friend and I attended the game on Saturday Night in Toronto and let me tell ya, the Toronto Fans started the night telling us everything that you can imagine, but at the end of the game, nobody was able to say too much, better, they were more into booing their own team......

Of course, we were prepared, but actually, we thought they would be more vicious but of course, loosing two games in a row, they couldn't really give us a hard time....

It was nice to see Preems back in the line up, but it wasn't good to see Eric leaving the game with his broken arm.....

But to end this, we were two Proud Flyers fan, walking around Toronto with our Jerseys.......

I got the same treatment on Nov. 1st before the Leafers' 7-1 schellacking... A couple wise-ass Leafies told me that there was tissue in the washrooms for drying my eyes during the game. After the game, I looked over and asked if they found the tissues okay.

I was there as well. I didn't get too much grief from Leafs fans while at the game, but the day of the game I was all around town, with the Flyers gear on, and heard a number of comments. One guy was trying to not let me go up to the top of the CN Tower.

The Flyers happened to be staying at our hotel, I never saw any of the players, but did see Propp, Jackson, Coates, Saunders, and Hitch, even spoke to him for a minute.

HEy john, how did you enjoy Montreal by the way, did you go to any of the restaurants i recommended? And by the way, i work right across the river from that Casino you went to, I can practically see the suicidal thoughts in the gamblers' minds from my office. :p
