Tie Domi's official Obituary along with his Team

Looks like years of battle have taken their toll on the mini Brawler from Belle River, Sundin was being abussed all over the ice last night, slashed, feet kicked out from under him, pushed and shoved at every opportunity. Now I'm not blaming Tie for this solely there where many Leafs guilty of cowardise last night. Leafs are out manned physically against the Flyers, Brashear and Fedoruk are much bigger men and have decievely beaten their Leafs foes on many occassion, what good would it do for Tie and Perrot to recieve beatings in an already embarrassing loss.

It's always distressing to see your players unwilling to compete, they where beat to the puck all night, they were out hit, they lost one on one's because they were not willing to sacrifice their bodies, the Flyers know they own them hit them and they will quit. It obvious they know Roberts is a leader and they go out and take it to Gary every shift throwing him off his game and therefore rendering our top line ineffective. Most notable is that they have gotten into Belfour's head and maybe Kidd should be the Flyer goalie as he matches up physically, seriously if Belfour can't get his game back against the Flyers we are toast.

Lets be honest we will not defeat the Flyers, Devils, Sens, or Islanders in a series they are just too tough for us and our old players cannot take the physical grind of a seven game series against them, now some are going to say we didn't have our full lineup because we never will. I think if we get pounded again tonight Fergie will come to the conclusion that a Stanley Cup is not in the cards for this ancient team and secure the future of the Leafs by trading all the guys on the last year of their contracts for the future of the Leafs, Goodbye Belfour, Roberts, Nieuwendyk, Marchment, Fitzgerald, if Quinn hasn't given all of them no trade contracts. It sadden's me to inform you this team isn't ready for prime time just like all the other teams we've had in 37 years. No way a team this OLD and Soft can make it through 4 rds of playoffs, remember our last Cup in 67 only played two rds to win the Cup and Sawchuck and Bower won it for us as we were outplayed most nights.

So do your thing Fergie and give us some Hope for the future.

Eric Cairns is a horrendous hockey player, worse than Marchment. Why would we possibly need him?

We need a big strong guy that can actually play, and shut guys down (Norstrom), not just big guys who fight and who are pylons on D (Cairns)

Yeah but he was taking himself totally out of position so many times trying to make a huge hit, it reminded of Kaparitus.

and with a 4th line of Clarke Wilm, Craig Johnson and Nathan Perrott...we must considered Cup favourites ...with that strong a line-up...

I think throwing Colaiacovo out there against the Flyers wouldn't have been too great an idea. Harrison, maybe.

You made almost bring up my steak from laughing.

That was pretty bad but not as bad as Jackman knocking it into the net.

I wonder how Colaiacovo would have done against Philly. I don't think it would have been too bad to have had him in there. It's not like Philly was manhandling the Leafs physically. They just scored a lot more and capitalized.
