This doesn't suck at all. Can we keep this up for a while?

Good kill leads right into a PP.

4 PP goals in one night? Hmmm.

Cole with a power forward-type goal with 8 seconds left in the 2nd. 3-1 Caps.

Wow. Nice play by cole.

Nylander...put your stick on the ice man.

He drops it back to Jurcina and then Jurcina tries to give it back to him and his stick is at his waist. Ugh.

No good.

Also, Jurcina made a bad clearing pass earlier in that shift as well. He'd probably be better served keeping the puck along the boards from now on.

Why are our two worst skating defensemen (Erskine/Jurcina) playing together?

I don't like that pair, especially against a fast guy like Cole.

Boudreau apparantly was a below average skater as a player. Maybe he has a soft spot in his heart for the pylons on the team.

OR maybe he wants to offer us something to complain about,

i'm liking the more balanced ice time.

jurcina looked like he went for the big hit on that cole goal instead of trying to stop him.

Cole abused them and Kolzig. Bruce is still feeling out the pairings I think. Cole juked Erskine to the ice away out of the play then bulled through Jurcina. Thats kinda how Semin and Ovey had to score their goals last year, always having to beat 3+ guys singlehandedly to score.

It took a while to find someone w/ schultz being scratched and pothier playing good as of late. Its hard to find something to complain about this game. lol

I like the fact that BB said he has many D and all will play. I agree that sometimes the young guys need to watch a game or two to see the action live. Video and playing only does so much at times.
