Bondra out with mysterious illness...

He left the game in the middle with some "illness". This means he could be in Ottawa as early as today. Man, I just can't wait to celebrate (unless of course its Vermette going the other way).

Sounds like Washington is worried about all their trading chips falling to injury.
I'm right there with you in eager anticipation of the news that Bondra is traded to Ottawa, hearing Hossa speak today about how Bondra was his favourite player really clinched it for me, imagine those two on a line. I also think that Bondra would be quite happy coming to Ottawa, perhaps moreso than other teams, because of the strong Slovak/Czech contingent on the team.

That said, now that there are a few other teams supposedly in the running, I hope we won't be too disappointed.

Or he could be on any number of numerous other teams that are suposedly interested(according to Bob McKenzie) or he could just be really sick?

Bondra would be a huge boost to our team. I really think he would but our offence over the top. We are already the deepest team in hockey, just imagine how much better a top notch left winger would make us.
