trade, firing, resignation, demotion, waiving, promoting...any are possible at this point.

hell, even throw in dolan coming down and ripping into management and coaching again like he reportedly did after that flyers game last season.

and just to show what i mentioned earlier about the root canal analogy, i slept through this whole game until just before atlanta scored its empty netter. all i had to do when i woke up was take one look at the highlights and box score to put it all together.

how depressing

It should be a good game on Sunday. I am very nervous taking a 9 game win streak into MSG. The last 2 wins haven't been pretty for the Devils. They have been sloppy at times. It's not going to be a runaway like some of you are thinking.

funny story from when i was leaving the stadium (taken from my site)

upon exiting the stadium a Thrasher fan came up behind me and shouted..

Give me a T!

10 seconds later someone gave him a pity “T”

Give me an H!

25 seconds later he got a pity H…

Then he just stopped his cheer since it appeared Thrasher fans didn’t have the team spirit, so anyway, after seeing his chant die away, I decided to yell out…

What’s that spell??!?! TTTHHHHHHHHHH

Suffice it to say I got an earfull from some very unhappy Thrasher fans who couldn’t believe I had the gall to make fun of a Thrasher fan after yet another humiliating defeat at their hands.

Meh, you can’t please everyone.

Amen. The Devils played like poop tonight. I can certainly cut them some slack for it though since it's makes 9 wins in a row, but it sure wasnt pretty out there. I hate to admit it, but with the Rangers being (I'd imagine) highly motivated after these losses and combined with the Devils winning 9 straight, this Sunday could be shaping as a big "letdown" game for the Devils. Hope I'm wrong.

We play like poop and lose...the Devils play like poop and win. Id like that tradeoff.

Just awful technique and he looked lazy on that goal as well. COMPLETELY his fault. That is a routine save for every single ****ing goalie in the league, and the dumbass lets it by him.

I don't disagree with you guys, but in the context of the effort of the Rangers as a team from start to finish, I am having a hard time pinning this loss on one save that should have been made. The story of this game for me is a team that looks confused and out of synch with eachother. This game should have be winnable with an even worse game from the back-up goaltender.

This game should have been won, no doubt about it. After their goal we scored twice in a matter of minutes and had all the momentum in the world. Then the Rangers decided that they'd rather play not to lose

Yes, they did put on some pressure a few times after that, but none of it created any good scoring chances. The third period the worst, where I didn't see any effort whatsoever. Vally was pretty good, I thought he gave us a chance to win. Unfortunately no one really cared

A team with an offense that contains Chris Drury, Scott Gomez, Jaromir Jagr, Petr Prucha, Brendan Shanahan and Martin Straka can only score two goals against a backup goalie, a backup goalie that several of you noticed is prone to giving up softies, and you are calling out a guy that stood on his head and kept your team in it last night?
