I'm Going!

I just found out this past week while I was away that I was the Grand Prize winner in the NHL.com gamenotes sweepstakes. I'm taking my 15 year-old to the All-Star Game! I couldn't believe it and he's absolutely beside himself! I forgot about the sweepstakes after I signed up for gamenotes, I got an email from someone at nhl.com and thought it was some sort of timeshare scam......but it's the real deal!
It's amazing what good, clean living and a little poutine will do for ya :p

We'll both be donning the Black & Gold. Me with the Bruins and he with his high school hockey team, the Nauset Warriors. Can't wait!

fmir nevermind me i thought stomper was referring to the old irish hooch-
"Potcheen, made from malt, yeast, barley, water and sugar, predates whiskey and vodka, and was originally known as "moonshine." Potcheen went underground in Ireland following heavy taxation from the British during the colonial days of their oppressive rule of the island nation. Potcheen was the original ingredient in. world-famous Irish coffee. The Bunratty Winery in County Clare has fought to reintroduce the traditional liquor in Ireland, but it is currently made for export to the USA only. The clear liquor is quite potent at 90 proof and can be drunk straight, in Irish coffee."
i am irish so i am always thinking about the hooch, and potatoes....

Tom Reid's Bar

I was in Minnesota to watch Boston University hockey play the UofM Gophers earlier this month. Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub is a must stop for any visiting hockey fan.
