Why is there no game clock?
Strange that one small thing can be so annoying.
Their graphics computer must be going through some issues; I wonder if it crashed and they couldn't get another one, sicne it hasn't been up all game, and rebooting something for 20 minutes does seem a little long.
How it works, BTW... there's one computer called the "bug" that computer is the "score-bug" that you see on the top of your screen. There's a second computer that handles all the lower third/stat graphics you see intermitenly.
That's why those graphics are coming up, but the bug is not; their bug might have crashed. If it crashed, and they don't have a backup graphic, they're screwed.
SNY went through something similar this summer; their bug crashed, they didn't have a replacement, so the graphic operator decided as a backup to make a score-bug out of the graphics machine, so in case the bug ever dropped dead, they weren't "bug-less", which MSG is right now.
LOL, back in the old days of watching hockey, not only did one have to walk to school five miles in the snow, but there was also almost nothing on the screen telling you the score or the time left. Graphics were crappy and came on very rarely. It's funny how you don't miss something that small until it's gone.
Er yeah. Lundqvist on Madden. After a messy series of plays by the Rangers, that was a big one.
I know, I was being sarcastic. Madden didnt get a shot off so he didnt have to make a save. He thinks to much sometimes, should have just shot it or made a move and stuck with it. Instead he ran out of real estate and didnt even get a shot off.

It's almost as if you know something was missing, and you try to get to the root of the issue. I think that's what was bugging me. I knew the game clock wasn't up, and it didn't take me as long as I did to start missing it. Something so minimal can be a huge hassle sometimes.
