Nice period. Certainly NJ had some chances, but not too many.

Good job by the Rangers. Now let's start getting it into the net.

I have to sit by the computer when I watch Ranger games this season. Cause when i sit on the coach I fall asleep.

Not much for the crowd to get into either. Real solid defensive period though.

thats y i usually watch the rangers on fsn .. fsn is also 2 sec. better . looks like msg has a 2 sec delay(as is always the case with these games). and also the announcers there arent scared to talk about the refs lol most of the time anyway .. joe is better about it than jd was though i think

Not to mention you can avoid Sam Rosen that way too.

When Renney takes Dubinsky off Jagrs line, he will score a goal within a couple of periods, gauranteed... You can see him beeing a little pressured playing with JJ.

Also, have been extremely busy lately, and missed like 4 straight games, and one thing that sticks out is how baiscally everyone is looking a bit less confident then what they did 10 days ago.

We need a lead against NJD tonight to win, or thats my bet. We carry the play, thats always nice, PP's will come et c. When we do that, its up for JJ, Gomez, Drury and co to break NJD's defense individually. Our guys don't seem to be up to that task today. If we get a lead though, NJD will have to take it to us sooner or later, and NJD can't play that style very well, and we are having a decent night and its likely that we would be able to take advantage of that.

Sure would be nice if the crowd could wake up a little bit like that Pens game last nite. Crosby vs Luongo on the PS was just electric!

And here we are going up against the Devils who are on a 9 game winning streak and playing pretty well against them too, wake up Ranger fans!

Shots advantages makes you look good, did Renney pay someone under the table?

Seriously though, I am willing to bet my house on that NJD had atleast 5 shots, I remember 5 exact chances... 2 soft shots (Parise had a slapper from far out, and they put a shot on net to get that FO in the last minute), the redirection within 20 seconds, Maddens break and was it Clarkson who got the pointblank opertunity that Lundy made a shoulder safe on? (after the 2 on 1)

And if I can remember 5 shots, I am sure it was atleast 6-7. Its not the first time I've seen optimistic shots totals in MSG this season.

Obviously, a few of those went wide/blocked... I doubt its a Rangers worker that does the official stats for the league; and those have it at 12-4 Rangers.

Chico Resch is the most annoying announcer ever. Emerick is ok, certainly listenable to

Right as idiot announcer says "Parise does not dive, if he goes down you did something to him", you see a hook in the bicep and legs fall out from under him like a trap door".

Lol.
