We can tank till we get Tavares and tank again 2015.. wait, does that mean we have to get Crow back to coach the team in 2014-2015 season? Assuming he'll be gone after Tavares...

I'm still trying to figure out how/when the kid switches from forehand to backhand without ever lifting his stick off the ice.

Can I see the play in "Fox-Mo"?

He didn't.....he just scooped it onto the blade turned his wrists when he spun. No backhand involved.

Really?! I've seen the thing 20 times and I STILL can't figure it out. It's too damned fast, even in slo-mo. How can it NOT be a backhand shot?! That shot defies mathematical theory!!!

Kids too much of a hot dog he'll never make it far. No reason to wait till 2015. Theres a 13 year old kid in Quebec doing the same thing. Hell if the Kings wanted a guy like that right now all they have to do is call Graz EC of the Austrain League and ask to speak to Rob Hisey.

What the kid did was bent down low laying his blade flat against the puck.....twisted his wrists really fast lifting the puck off the ice on his forehand.........then spun around while continuing to turn his wrists causing his blade to actually point down towards the ice.....allowing the puck to now face the net while still on his forehand......after that he just has to keep is momentum and aim his stick to an empty part of the net!

This is extremely difficult, requires a lot of skill, and is very fun to watch!

Here's an even more advanced version of the move!

Here, this give you a slow look at it without the spin.

Enjoy!

And doing that is now illegal at at least the NHL and college levels b/c of the goal in the second clip in the post above mine. I think they made the rule that you cannot possess the puck on your stick off of the ice surface.

When did the NHL put that rule in?

Apparently I made that up, as I can't find any evidence to support my point. Sorry.

Edit: I can't even find the college rule although I swear I read about that one somewhere.

I think I have heard of that rule as well. Because I am sure there are a ton of NHL players that could do it and do not because it is illegal.

You must have heard the goal wouldn't count pertaining to Rob Schremp's dipsy dangles over his shoulders...since that would be a high stick. That is the best guess I can come up with...
