Nice!
Maybe RBK should redesign the jerseys to not rip so much in fights.

Yeah, they should. Parros had his jersey ripped a few times and Bertuzzi the other day. I'm sure there's more.

And he seems to be getting better. Quite possibly his last two fights were his best in a Ducks uniform (Koci, Shelley).

Yikes, Parros landed a huge one in the end.

There should be like an enforcer's guild that boycotts those crap jerseys. They keep ripping during fights.

I would be one of the last people to claim that there is some problem with reffing against the ducks.. but frankly, this game shows how silly games are called.

Did I read the boxscores horribly wrong, or did Andy McDonald get 7:30 of icetime tonight

You guys had the advantage in talent and it really showed on the PP, but the refs? come'on man, the CBJ got hosed tonight...the Westcott call was borderline, but the double minor to Boll for a clean hit? The pick Schneider set on Nash on your second PP goal? Honestly, good game, Anaheim's talent was superior and thats why they take 2 points, but the refs were gracious.

Actually, I rather enjoyed Zherdev and Fedorov's dives as well as Pronger's hook on a clean check, and then the obvious uncalled Getzlaf trip. To each his own, I suppose.

Feds dive, on the boarding call? Zherdev's dive when he was hooked to the ice? If those are the plays you're calling dives, then I guess we watched different games. Grats on the 2 points, looking forward to the next meeting.

Yes. Todd Marchant stationary does not make Fedorov jump off the ice in agony. Travis Moen doesnt hook one of Columbus' best skaters down to the ice with one hand on his stick. Watch the replays. If you think those are not embellishments.....

I always find it humorous when fans complain about calls despite their team having more ppl opportunities. Its funny.

No kidding. After the 5 on 3 called because a WEAK cross check by Marchant and questionable hooking call on Pronger (yes he swept his stick around, but he touched the puck with his stick first before he made contact IF he did at all), there was NO call on a clear tripping on Getzlaf in the neutral zone and then on the same shift Getzlaf gets shoved face first into the boards and AGAIN no call. Columbus should have also been called for a hook on Schneider in OT when the Ducks were already on the PP. The refs are calling marginal calls and missing the obvious ones and it's getting ridiculous.

I know the Ducks deserve most of the penalties they are getting, but the refs are NOT calling these games both ways.

Good win for the Ducks. And an enjoyable game to watch...never thought I'd say that in a game in which Hitchcock is coaching.

The pick? I thought that they each incidentally collided, though I didn't look closely on that one so I could be wrong.

That Marchant one was especially horrible because it gave the Jackets a 5 on 3 and Marchant barely bumped him. If anything embelishment should take priority over the cross check, but I think a no call would have been more than fine there. I was amazed at the Pronger call. I guess the call that gave us the winning PPG made up for it, but as far as I'm concerned the Jackets shouldn't have even gotten into OT to begin with.

I guess its just that the Ducks have been so inconsistant then when they actually play better than the other team it feels all that much worse when they are partially jobbed by the refs. A lot is because it happens so frequently. Its almost like our reputation warrants anything barely borderline as legit to call against us, even when we are in the penalty kill or up 10 PIM on the other team.

I'm just sad Getzlaf only got one point during that game. Getzlaf never ceases to amaze me. I'm so glad he's on our team. He "played his balls off".

OMG, I just watched the highlights on nhl.com, where did they dig up that awesome play by play guy? He's so bad, it's hilarious. And it's got nothing to do with bias or homerism. That sounded like play by play from some 2 bit Div I-AA college radio station. On Sammy's penalty shot, the guy didn't even say anything, it was like his brain got in the way of his tongue.

Getzlaf is such a great player. He has so much confidence now. He is literally dancing through defensemen every single game. Amazing player.

If you watch the replay the hit was late and not clean at all. The double minor only happened because Hnidy decided to stick up for his teammate. The refs obviously felt the ducks still deserved a power play on the hit so they assigned a matching roughing minor to Boll.

It's not completely out of the ordinary.
