UAA and UAF Hockey Future Future in Jeopardy

http://www.adn.com/sports/2016/08/18...in-crosshairs/

Sad/Scary news in the College Hockey community out of Alaska this week.

UAA and UAF programs, along with other sports, are in serious risk of being cut as early as 2017-18.

There's esstentially 3 main options:

1) Cut one or both school's entire athletic department
2) Combine UAA and UAF into one school with select teams split between the campuses
3) Cut D1 sports and only field D2 sports in their primary D2 sports conference (at one or both school)

4) An extememly low chance everything stays status quo

The last thing D1 hockey needs is to lose teams. Hopefully they get it figured out but it isn't looking good.
