Big Brother 9 (The writers strike edition)

Premieres Feb 12th

- Big Brother 9 After Dark is getting axed in favor of a having Sequester house filmed. The sequester house will be filmed by a regular TV crew it will not be a 24Hour live feed. The show will air on ShowTime from midnight to 3 AM on a daily basis

- Due to last seasons prolific rule breaking Big Brother 9 may institute a 3 Strikes rule, and any contestant who knowingly or unknowingly breaks 3 of the golden rules, is called to the DR and summarily dumped without a word to the other HGs, then replaced by an alternate HG. Strict lights out policy and wake up times. Serious regimentation. Chores. Etc…. Almost to the point where the season would be referred to as Big Brother Boot Camp

-Go back to the nominees picking someone they want to play them in the POV, as opposed the picking a "blessed by god ping pong ball". If that person the nominee selected wins the Power of Veto they have to take you off the block

- Outgoing Head of Household is allowed to play for the following weeks HOH

- Looks like the season is going to be called S.O.S (season of secrets)

More details as they become available

Wow. That sounds kind of lame. Big fan of the show, but why do that have to keep ****ing with the rules?

Not sure i like this, it could lead to alot of backdooring early on.

Where did you see these rules anyways?

I am guessing CBS feels the need for programming due to the writers strike. I wouldn't be suprised if we see alot of reality programming in the new yea for the same reason.

I like the veto rule, I think. I don't know this will take me out of rhythm.

But I can't watch the house from 12am to 3 am? But they're giving me the sequester house? Yes! Now I can watch people ***** and whine about how they aren't in the game while they eat ice cream and popcorn by the pool. What gives?

Dick was the biggest rule breaker in the house but he was a fan favorite so they let his garbage slide. I'm excited for it. I don't know what i'll do if the strike ends because it really is the only thing I watch in the summer but I don't know how i'll be able to devote 3 days a week to it if other shows are on

I'll hook you up with free feeds big fella, then you will still get your fix and watch the losers in the seq house too!

Win Win

Oh and in the summer they are going to have a "Quasi Celebrity version" with rumored guests Rob and Amber, Rupert, Janelle (yet again) and a few other "celebrities"

The other rumor is that this is going to be 14 houseguests and a 10 week show, so much shorter than usual.

I'm pumped all this and Jonnyfairplay going to be on the next survivor going to be a few months where hell freezes over

Rupert was the man. Ask Chill Town to come and give into every one of their demands. More specifically...get Will Kirby!

I'm ashamed that I chuckled at that.

Looking forward to a new season. I'll have to resist getting the live feeds this time.

What's the usual? 13 weeks?

Anyways, I doubt it'll only be 10 weeks. With 14 houseguests it'd be way too short.

How so?

Couple double elimination nights, and that's right on par. We really don't know what twists or turns they have planned.
