How Scary are the Avalanche?

Florida goes up 3-0 in the first period, the Avs go to the dressing room, get a wake up call, and come out and tie the game 3-3 before the 2nd period is half over.

Florida takes the lead, 4-3 a few minutes later, and then the Avs tie it right back up.

Granted, the Avs are playing Florida and Sauve is in the nets, but they are also going up against what should be an All-Star goalie. This Avs team seems to score when they need to, or when they want to. Yikes.

When they do this against a healthy Detroit, St.Louis or Vancouver -- then I'll be scared.

They are a lethal team.

All they have to do is avoid injuries and stop letting teams like Florida score 4 goals on them by the 2nd period!

Avs have been very good climbing out of holes this season. But since they dug the holes themselves I don't know if you really can see it as a strength.

They did that against a healthy Tampa Bay Lightning team two days ago. Although it was a 4-3 deficit, not 3-0.
