I'm not taking offense since I barely post much anymore...
2005 was the ***** and I was the one that started it it all.
Uhm.
I need a higher postcount.

The only thing I've disliked about this year is the enormous number of threads. Some good threads are left on the 2nd page because some posters think their opinions on a subject already talked about is somehow more interesting or relevant enough to warrant a new thread.

That said, first year posters are always crap, except me of course, I was fantastic.

Yep,I've remarked it.This is a aspect I've quite detested, honestly.Only to get more praises or to be somehow noticed,I suppose.
As for the second part of your post, it's definitely fixed.

I was at another hockey boards (hockeytraderumors.com) at the same time that I started reading this board. I found that the former board quickly regressed in quality, and was too Leafs-centric, so I joined this board a few months after I found out about it. However, there were posts that I felt I needed to respond to but for one reason or another I did not get around to doing so.

As for the quality of posts, I feel that the year someone joined is irrelevant. For example, The President joined this year and has been a benefit to the overall quality of the board. Anyways, the 2006 crop of posters was the best . As for myself, I think I make a good contribution to the boards but my general disposition clouds my cognitive abilities after a Habs loss. I should wait two or three hours before I post.

i dont remember when i joined but i do know i dont post on here as much as i used to :O
i blame it on the fact that ive been busy spamming up another board and i just never seem to always like the direction the argument is going to take and dont see "what the point is" most of the time.. i mean i dont mind debating something if its a debate that will feasibly end or be useful, (although im sure ive started my share of utter garbage and for that i apologize) but yeah, if the argument is based on "i think this guy is/isnt good" or about the benefits of having leaders etc, its all going to come down to personal opinion and no one can force me to see the light and i cant force them so why bother trying....

or you know.. im just getting lazy

Well this probably happens because some of the fans are just frustrated with the way the organization has been for the last 14 years. So as soon as one loss takes place, they get a little excited I guess. I agree some people are looking to just cause trouble though. I guess they see it as being amusing to get a rise out of people.

I watched the board from about 2005 or 2006 but I didn't join until 2007 because I'm just too lazy to post really. Cristobal Huet the poster inspired me to post a bit though I saw Huet was getting bashed too much so I posted some comments defending him.

In terms of good posters or not good posters, it is highly subjective I think. Some people make posts in order to have a good debate. Others have highly energetic posts. Some people post to entertain others. As for good posters based on different criterion, there are quite a few good posters I think. My favorite posters are Cristobal Huet, HarryI, Ice Poutine, tiredman, Kriss E, natey2k, Maliki2, Fish on the Sand, Waffledave, Vlad the Impaler, Chazz, yukoner, Doctor House, WeThreeKings, and Brownsville.

LOL Now we are being lumped together by year? LOL

Is there like a chinese zodiac for each year having an animal?

If so '05s are Roosters er-a-er-a errrrrrr

People born in the Year of the Rooster are deep thinkers, capable, and talented. They like to be busy and are devoted beyond their capabilities and are deeply disappointed if they fail. People born in the Rooster Year are often a bit eccentric, and often have rather difficult relationship with others. They always think they are right and usually are! They frequently are loners and though they give the outward impression of being adventurous, they are timid. Rooster people°¶s emotions like their fortunes, swing very high to very low. They can be selfish and too outspoken, but are always interesting and can be extremely brave. They are most compatible with Ox, Snake, and Dragon.

2005 draft is the best...Crosby, Price, Kopitar, Ryan, Staal, HarryI (habs911), Le Tricolore, AymanD, Renholder and more...

2005 was the best ever.

Do you have the stats of this habs911? I'd be curious to see how he's doing right now.

He's no bust...when he started doing the GDT's in March 2006 the Habs won 8 in a row to go to the playoffs...he's a clutch performer!

The artist formerly known as habs911 seems to have a losing record now as HarryI
