20 years with one team

If Rick Dipietro gets to the end of his contract with the Islanders he would have by then played 20 years with one organization.

The only player I can think of off the top of my head who has done this is Raymond Bourque.

Brodeur may do this eventually as well... maybe.

Who are the other players if there are any... post 60s lets say.

Aubrey Clapper - Boston Bruins - 1926-1947 (the only pre-60's I think)
Gordie Howe - Detroit Red Wings - 1946-1971
Jean Beliveau - Montreal Canadiens - 1950-1971
Steve Yzerman - Detroit Red Wings - 1983-2006

That's pretty rare

John Bucyk played 2 years with the Wings to start his career and then played 21 years in Boston from 1957-1978. This year will be his 51st year with the organization.

George Armstrong: Toronto 1950-1971

Tim Horton: Toronto 1950-1970

Alex Delvecchio: Detroit 1951-1973

Mario Lemieux played from 1984 to 2005 with Pittsburgh, but he missed quite a few years in between.

Lidström I think will belong on that list too, if you don't count his 13 games with Västerås in between. I cannot see this guy retire anytime soon or leaving Detroit.
