I'm a Rangers, Yankees, 49ers, Knicks fan.

Last time my team won a championship was in 2000 when the Yanks won.

man, its been a while.

how about you guys?

Being a Mets, Giants and Ranger fan, 94 was the last.

Rangers 1994.

BUT I WAS 15 DAYS SHY OF MY 4TH BIRTHDAY!

Closest in other sports:
1998 Jets lose 10 point lead to the Broncos.. ********.. we would have beat the Falcons.

2006 Mets are one game away from the WS.. Beltran takes a backdoor curve down the pipe.. we lose the series.

I'm a fan of the Australian cricket team and they win everything

But in terms of club teams: the Essendon Football Club winning the AFL premiership in 2000 would be the last one

Meh. At least I've seen each of my teams win. And I was at Game 7 of the '86 World Series.

yeah, ive seen 4 yankees championships, 1 rangers championship, and 4 Niner championships. seen the knicks lose twice in the finals, and the yanks lose twice.

so ive been pretty lucky with my teams all things considered. though it does seem like each of my teams have gone through ridiculously prolonged stretches of not just losing, but absolutely sucking to no end.

Gilly broke the record earlier today for most dismissals by an Aussie keeper, great stuff

watching the spurs manhandle the knicks during that championship series was one of the low points in my sports life.

but we won a game, which actually kinda surprised me.

Mets, Jets, Rangers, Nets (to a lesser extent). I liked the 2003 Syracuse team but that wasn't really legit. Probably 94 Rangers, but I was only 8. Rangers Coyotes Diamondbacks Bears sure is random, by the way.

Let's see:

Rangers, Giants, Arsenal, Yankees, Red Bulls

So Arsenal with an FA Cup in 2005 (and a League Championship the prior season, going undefeated in 2004) would be the most recent championships for any of my teams.

Rangers in '94..but I wasn't even a real fan then as I was still young and hadn't been into hockey beforehand. That was the stepping stone though that got me into hockey, I was on and off with the team for about 8 years until finally becoming a die-hard in 2001-2002.

Funny story (ok not really)...I was reading the only police report about me at my HQs a few weeks ago and it was a family accident that occurred when I was 13...My parents got tickets for the family to go see the Rangers and I put on a huge fit because I had other plans and I didnt want to go. Needless to say, I wrecked half my house and the police were called How I turned down a Rangers game because I wanted to go to Sport Time USA (people in Westchester might know of that place) i'll never know

(yes i was a bit crazy when I was younger )

All of you (if not all, I'd assume most) will think I'm absolutely nuts for saying this. The last time one of my favorite teams celebrated a championship was this year. I'm a Red Sox fan.
