I mentioned in another thread I Glencross might be the eventual replacement for Chimera on that third line. Better offensive upside and I think Glenx is more responsible on the defensive side.
Nothing again Chimmer, he just might become redundant.
I do not think that GlenX will be better than Chimera in the long haul.
I am not saying for a second that Chimmer isn't playing very good lately. I had a problem with your post that came off as scathing and rude.
Clearly I'm not the only one who feels this way.
deffinitly? Aren't you an English major?
You attack my spelling? My Spelling? I've referred to you as the "Pavarotti of the Personal Attack," in this past week even, and you attack my spelling? My User Title is "Doesn't Get It." I deffinitly expected you to have a field day with that.

Sam....you can't talk trash and expect people NOT to get upset.
Mac... you should know by now Amerkans cant spell.
Now back to the subject de jour...
While I too have expressed reservations about his play and future....I'm not going to trash the guy because he hasn't scored. A third liner contributes in MANY ways that the average fan doesn't appreciate.
Let me suggest that we apply the Scientific Method to the question.
Hypothesis: If Chimmer were not contributing some positives, and was costing the team, we'd know it:
Predicted results:
1) Coach would have given him some bench time.
2) Coach would have reduced his minutes for a couple of games.
3) Coach would not have anonymously singled him out on Dec 19 Show as the player who the coach thinks deserves a promotion and would not have given him the promotion to 1st line last week.
4) Coach would have demoted him on the lines.
Actual results: None of the above
New Hypothesis: Chimera isn't screwing up as bad as some think.
Chimera plays his best when he has a chip on his shoulder and plays physical. The guy is big and lightning fast. He needs to make others pay. He has not been that way at all recently. He needs to get back to the bang-bang style of play he has shown in the past. I bet if he played that way, he'd get out of his goal-drought.
