Its to give the 3rd line encouragement. Whatever they do with Malik on there in practice, they know theyll have to be better in the actual game

He got slashed in the hand, can't really blame him. The wrist thing should have been taken care of when he was out with the shoulder injury so he wouldn't have had to sit out two separate times, but it's too late for that now, obviously.

Well, it is what it is. Out of chaos comes order. Or maybe not. Maybe chaos will just reign on, right through the end of the season.

Avery and Injury Problems

Is anyone else afraid that giving Avery over 3 million dollars could be a huge mistake.

I mean, I love his play, I love what he brings to the team... but with his size, and the way he plays, and the way he's having a hard time staying in the line up.

Would 3 Million for Avery be worth it if he only plays 40-60 games a year?

My guess is Moore does skate tonight. If he was that sick, they'd send him back or it'd be a definite no go.

It's: Pierre like in Jean-Pierre Dumont and Parenteau is like Bernie Parent with an ending "o" so PARENT-O.

According to this,Avery was slashed in the Montreal game and it's the other wrist. He played with the injury last week

Quote:
The Rangers' injury list mounted today as Sean Avery, whose right wrist was injured by a slash and swelled up after the Montreal game on Dec. 30, was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Saturday. "It's been bothering him a lot," said coach Tom Renney. Avery had surgery on the other wrist at the end of November.
