That was one of the strongest first periods "on the road" for the Columbus Blue Jackets I've seen all year.... Every player was skating where the puck was going to be instead of where it was at..... That kind of play wins playoff games... Copy it! book it!....

Norrena is playing exceptional of late as well.....he is a vary confident goaltender these days...

Problem is...he is not setting up anybody...and if he is so defensive...why is he 4th on our team in minus +/-? And dont tell me he is playing vs. the other teams top line...Novotny is. If he were so D oriented now...and cant get the offense anymore...he should have done what was best for the team...and what the coach wanted...and moved to defenseman.

It's never really been negativity; just reality perceived by folks who want to hear differently...One thing I don't do is lie to make folks happy. If the jackets play what I consider to be real NHL hockey I'll post it, if they stink I'll still post it but in a manner more acceptable....ok.

not a bad idea...freddie needs to settle down before this gets out of hand. Chicago was up 2-1 before giving up 8 unanswered to LA the other night

So far one of the worst 10 minutes of NHL hockey for both teams I've seen in awhile...lol

The good news, the CBJ lead....

Norrena better settle down or he will be pulled too.....

Me, too, beba. I am almost afraid to say so.. (and run the risk of being the recipient of pub's ire!) I gotta say, though, the man is 38 yrs. old. He defected from his native country to play in the NHL. He's won a couple of Selke's, a Hart and a Pearson Award. I can't help but wonder if you can appreciate this man's value over the years. He was (quite literally) awesome. One year, while in Detroit, he donated his entire salary to help the area's needy children. His list of accolades is lengthy and I won't bore you with them now. I can't help but think that if I were an aging professional sports player, I might behave exactly the same way, knowing that my days are virtually numbered, so to speak.

We all have specific players that, for some reason or another, we just can't stand. In my own case, the reasons are probably not always justified. Maybe just some minor habit or something that particularly annoys me. Maybe that's what it is about Federov with pub. Anyway, good job tonight Feds, and Go Jackets!!!

Take it easy on ole Granny, now, pubs.

Oh my, what a period..... Not Blue Jacket hockey by any means. We cannot win in a scorefest that's for sure....

We are playing the Kings game... But as last night-where is Nash? Man, is it me or does Nash seem to mellow out on the road? Nash is no Iginla I guess.

Oh well, Norrena did settle down.... I'm lost on what the jackets are trying to do in this game....
