Maybe not so off topic, because of what the fallout might be.

Does this now effect the Leafs, and the three defenders the Leafs currently have, and might be looking to deal? I think it's obvious, and this might be the domino that gets the whole trade sweepstakes going.

The fact that this story leaked to the media is very unprofessional on the Sens part. Redden has been thrown under a bus by management and the ****** part is that he didn't deserve it.

I agree. I don't know why he's being made the scapegoat in all of this. He's obviously not an elite defenseman, but man is he receiving too much heat.

I haven't seen many games, but Volchenkov hasn't looked nearly as good as he did last year. I haven't heard anything about him. He'll be demanding a hefty raise soon I'd imagine.

I'd put pretty good money on the Sharks focusing on Kaberle or Dan Boyle now.

At least the Leafs have some leverage over Kaberle in regards to his NTC.

Yes, which is why I believe he will be gone now, when he at least has some form of control to where he goes.

I wonder who was coming the Sens' way?

Rather see Kubina go before, Kaberle ... one sub-par season and ship him out :|

He has a ntc now, but come june, he won't. If he doesn't waive it now, he won't have any control where he goes. He might as well take that control he does have, and dictate where he can go.

Yeah, then he loses his NTC on July 1st and ends up with another losing franchise.

Either way, I believe Kaberle gets traded now or traded this summer. Tomas would be wise to move along now where he at least has some control over where he goes.

It's because Redden is paid like a #1 and hasn't played like it.

That said, he's not a bad player.

Good. Makes it harder for Ottawa to improve.

Im quite happy with the whole situation. Redden refuses to be moved, and is gone for nothing as a UFA in the offseason.

Regardlessly Murray has to put his stamp on this team before playoffs. I mean I dont think it would look very good if Murray rode Mucklers team through the playoffs.

I doubt Kaberle's going anywhere. Fletcher always likes to build around a top offensive defenseman when he was here, like when he touted up Schneider as a franchise building block.

Kaberle is not a player to build around, period. I'm for keeping him, but definitely not for building around him.

I am, the only other site I've had over 1000 posts on was an Oasis forum...

Masterplan, Shakermaker, and brownman are other big fans on here.

Actually, when we had a dedicate a song to JFJ thread, we had about 9 oasis songs out of like 20 total....they seem to have a decent following from HF.

Why, because he isn't 20?

Heh. I used to post a bit on Oasisinet (only about 70 posts), about 7000 on The Masterplan (masterplanforum.net) and now I'm on a site that spun off of Masterplan, stoptheclocks.org. Don't post that often though, I've lost interest in the off topic section, I be here now (OMG SO PUNNY )
