Players under contract for 04-05

USA Today Article

Above is a link to the USA Today article from yesterday about how many players will be under contract (including options) for each team in 04-05. There are other articles as well concerning salaries and the potential lockout. Thought it would spark some interesting thought and comments.

The Blues DO NOT have 24.5 Million tied up.

The players signed for next year are:
Weight 7
Tkachuk 9-10
Sejna .5
Salvador 1.4
Walker .45

Also, Rycroft may be under contract. I'm unsure of his contract status, but I think we all know that he's not going to be getting $5M.

The Blues do have an option on Osgood, so maybe they are including that.

There is a footnote that states their number includes any options. I wonder how many of the current team have an option for 04-05. Do you have that info?

As far as I know, it's only Osgood, but I didn't know about his option until a few days ago (which is why it's not listed on the graphic in the FAQ thread)
