People are saying nasty things about the Coyotes???

BTW, you are right ... this is a great idea. Of course I can't take full credit for it. A few weeks ago someone in some remote part of the country asked for a link to the national radio shows ... I just changed the concept a little.

Thx.

You wont get one for Colorado, none of the AM sport stations have online broadcasts any more.

FYI, the main sports station in St. Louis doesn't offer free online streaming audio anymore. The link that I posted is for KTRS, the broadcast station for Blues games, and their sports show is usually on from 6-9 pm CDT during the week.

UHG! It is not about the game ... it is for pre-game, post-game, listening in on trade reviews ... that sort of thing ... If all you want is the game go to NHL.com. This is about getting the prespective of the other city.

For the record, there are two sports stations that I know of in Tampa, only one of which has any hockey talk, and neither has online streaming. One of them used to, if it ever comes back I'll let you know.

Neither of the two sports stations (WDFN and WXYT) in Detroit offer streaming audio.

Any Infinity owned radio station does not broadcast on the internet, such as WFAN in NY. They will have an audio recap later on that day of interviews from the day and if there was a big trade then usually the audio of the hosts interview with one of the beat writers, gm, coach/manager, etc.

And if anyone decides to tune in around this time of year, be prepared to be inundated with Rams talk, primarily (KTRS is also the broadcast affiliate of the Rams); however, once they open up the lines to listener calls, the Blues pop up in coversation almost immediately. It's just sorta hit or miss right now. Once training camp starts (in 42 days) the focus will shift MUCH more to the Blues.

www.wdfn.com 1130 AM in Detroit had it but took it down, but I heard them say they think that they were gonna get it back soon. Stoney from Stoney & Wojo said it. So check there often.

I thought for sure that Boston, Dallas and Minnesota have local sports radio shows that offer on-line listening. The on-line stations do not have to carry the Bruins, Stars or Wild games. They just have to be a local sports show that offers on-line listening.

Where are those fans to help us out???

But you want them to talk about the NHL, right? NHL coverage in Minnesota is not good. Maybe after a few more good seasons. Last time I bothered listening they wasted my time.

If the Coyotes and Wild hook up and make a trade that sports radio show that doesn't talk much hockey will eventually talk about the trade and I would like to here the Minnesota perspective.

If the Twin Cities have a sports radio show that offers On-Line Listening please post the link.

The Ducks are on KPLS 830AM and there is an internet feed for games.

The Kings are still on KRLA 1110 as far as I know, although I haven't listened to one in about 9 months.

What we really need is a dedicated 24-hour all Hockey Radio Channel. We could then market it to affiliates and AM networks to sign-on to portions of the broadcast.

hmmm....the wheels of the mind are spinning. XMSR/Sirius....ESPN...NHL Affiliation.....OMG...I need funding!

So, think it could be done? Does anyone besides me, think that an all Hockey radio network could exist and thrive?

You misunderstood me, or just don't want to believe me. They _won't_ talk about the trade. They might report it, but they won't talk about it... no radio 'analysts' will offer their opinions... it's a dead-zone up here.
