I never predicted Jackets to be near the playoffs this season as I know rebuilding takes more than just a snap of fingers. Everything is new now. You can do it by creating a long term plan with low risks or buy everything with high risk (Like Philadelphia). And we can't do the 2nd option as we don't have endless pockets of money.

Being positive, at least for me, keeps you looking the bright side what this team has. If you claim that there is no such thing, you're just not looking closely enough.
OK, Handyy
It's ten hours later and I've calmed down some. It was extremely difficult to see anything bright after that performance, but you are correct that there has been a whole lot of improvement over last year - if you take the season as a whole.

It is funny though. I was thinking late in the third period that if I were in Freddy's place, I would probably try to break my stick over my knee. Then he goes ahead and breaks his stick.

One thing I still feel passionately is that no one should be treated the way they treated Freddy last night. They owe that man. He was hung out to dry. And there was no back up - Mason could only come in because of injury, so Norrena had to take all of that punishment.

At this point we would be doing him a favor by trading him. Maybe then he would get some support. He deserves much better.

Enough. Don't look back and on with the show.

Hey MINDS.... did you follow Hitch's Show today? Go look at his quotes.
Might put you at ease about what we're doing to Freddy (or not).

Norrena was dizzy, not himself.
Rest of the Jackets were off their feed too. Hitch acknowledged it and said basically "there will be games like this...let's move on."

I'm game, as long as he isn't rubbing my shoulders all the while.

Didn't Ottawa give up 8 goals to Ovechkin...err I mean the Caps...last week? Oh well, we stunk and you'll have that sometimes. It doesn't mean we don't need changes, and it doesn't mean we are out of the playoff hunt. It does mean there will be payback Friday night

I'd say it better mean there will be payback Friday night. If the CBJ roll over for the Blues again, I'll barf.

I wish I had tickets because it will be a good one to see live.

We are not out of the playoffs but we are more than 3 points as mentioned by the Dispatch, there is a thing called games in hand and SL rules in that department.

Bottomline, we need to win five games in row at some point to really be in the race.

Thanks, JF. I can't listen live as radio reception sucks wind in my office.
I'm trying my best to follow Handyy's lead and put it all behind me. Knowing Freddy was dizzy makes it a little easier, but then I never really was blaming him anyway.
Now excuse me while I go and wipe that game off my DVR.

Delete your BCS game while you're at it.
Nice couple of days for Central Ohio.

Yep, your post was the catalyst..

Seeing as they've been talking about it for the last month +....

And for the record, just in case you missed it the first time... Brassard would have made no difference in outcome.
