I wish I still lived in the Maritimes so I could see someone like Voracek play more. The bit I saw of him at the World juniors I was impressed, he often looked like the best player on his team although the team itself was dissapointing there.
Voracek: best all-around player to put on a cbj jersey..even if it was pre-season
Mason: i dont understand how a guy this good can be so overlooked. i know that he was a 3rd rounder cause he didnt play much that year. but everyone says how great bernier is. he is trash compared to mase
Brassard: i absolutely love it when he has the puck or has just passed it. period.
Legein: just a firecracker..i cant believe how great of a draft we had this year..i love all of our picks. Legein is just so great on both sides of the puck EVERY time he is on the ice
Methot: i dont notice him. this is a huge compliment to a shut-down d-man. if i dont notice him, it means he isnt doing anything wrong.
Lindstrom: i dont know why its taken us this long to bring him up..he's an offensive dynamo
Pineault: funny how our second rounder in 04 is already head and shoulders above our first rounder
btw why would London trade Mason? they suck w/o him. and also how can we still call him up from juniors..i thought once he was gone, he was gone
I voted Mason, because he is the first goalie in our organization that I really totally am impressed with. Total package for a goalie. Doesn't mean I don't like Pazzy, because I do.
I think Brasssard gets called up this year and stays.
Next year Mason in the Cuse for a year of pro seasoning.
Voracek, and yes, Legein make the club out of camp.
I voted for Brass because he's the closest to ready and we need help now. Plus, he's a "skills" guy and that's what we need most. Effort, will, and toughness are all necessary; but the thing this teams lacks the most is top-line NHL talent. I tire of watching our guys flail away and miss the net or lose the puck or trip and fall or...or...!

It basically comes down to London needing to re-load -really badly-, and Kitchener wanting to win the Memorial Cup (which they host this year, so they have an automatic bid into the tournament.)
I'm sure that if London thought they could make the MC with Mason and still get some good depth for next year, they would have, but Kitchener's offer was too good, and their cupboard a little too bare not to take the deal.
My choice is Brassard, he's my favorite player and after played at DrVille, my hometown, I start to really like him, he's a good guy and player.
I very skills guy.
Go Brass!!!
