Who starts Fri vs Blues

Hello all Jackets fans, anyone have any idea who will start Friday? I am asking, because if it is Mason I would set up my TV to record the game. Any help or links would help, Thanks Glovesave43

Based on Hitchcock's comments on his radio show today, that Pazzy skated in practice today, I would bet Pazzy will be in net.

This would be a good place to keep an eye on to see who will start

It won't be Mason....if what I read recently is correct Mason can only play if both Norrena and Leclaire are unable to play... Mason might be on the bench but if Leclaire or Norrena are able to play they will start, and play the entire game unless injured.

Mason is here under the rules of "emergency", he can't play if we have a physically healthy goalie (if I understand the rules correctly that is).

My, everything aside, I can't believe I'm typing potentials where both Norrena and Leclaire might be unable to play....

well if neither Norrena or Leclaire are feeling well on Friday, what other option do we have?

None from what I have read over the last few days.... If Hitchcock isn't careful he may be in goal before the season is over.....

Hitchcock from today's radio show:

"I have no reservations about playing Mason. He really made the team out of camp and I'm just trying to be fair with him."

So Hitch half of the NHL is on the same page....the only issue at this point is when Mason can play under the "emergency" NHL callup rules from the CHL league...

I think it will be Pazzy Friday, but if he has problems and Freddie is still having issues, Saturday might be a more interesting question.

They could easily say that Pazzy is still sick.

Brassard being called up makes things very interesting. How long before he's playing with Nash?

Nash-Fedorov-Lindstrom
Novotny-Brassard-Vyborny
Chimera-Peca-Boll
Shelley-Malhotra-Fritsche

Foote-Hejda
Klesla-Hainsey
Russell-Methot

Looks like a completely different team with that make-up. Once Z is back I'd think Vyborny and Boll would bump down a spot, and hope to God that Fritsche would move to Shelley's spot... at least for some games.

Did Brassard and Lindstrom play together at all in Syracuse?

Interesting thought, but I don't know if I'd want two young(read: inexperienced) guys playing together. I think for the first couple games Brassard should be playing with a Fedorov, Vyborny, or Peca type player until he's completely up to speed. Preferably Vyborny because that allows him to play center.

Well she won't be starting but Mrs. Jktsfan will be riding a Zamboni between 1st and 2nd period - she'll be in her Green All Star 61 Jersey. You can see my FAR BETTER half

Freddie is ok, and back in the line-up. Mason heading back to Kitchener.

Leclaire in net tonight.

Oh no, you mean all of Bob's angst about Mason was for nothing?! Well, maybe all of the extra heart pounding will help keep your arteries clean, Bro!

I hope whatever healthy boys we have out there tonight can 'bring it' to counteract the less than acceptable play the other night.

Here's to GOOD LUCK for the Jackets!

I know, Bob, I'm just teasing you. There's nobody here that wants to see things turn in the right direction more than you do.

It worked for Mason Raymond and Jason Jaffray in Vancouver. Granted, they're apart now (Raymond is playing with the Sedins and Jaffray is playing with Naslund and Pyatt), but they were very effective when they were together.
